It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Nybol Chol Dhul, who was born on January 1, 2002, in Damascus, Syria, and departed this life on July 28, 2025, at the age of 23.
In 2004, at just two years old, Nybol migrated to America with her family. They lived in Tennessee for several years before eventually settling in Minnesota, where she grew up surrounded by love, resilience, and strong family bonds.
Nybol will be lovingly remembered as a devoted mother to her daughter, Nyamouch (Zariah) Dhul, who was the light of her life. She is survived by her mother, Nyakaka Joka, her father, Chuol Dhul, and her siblings Nyagoa Dhul, Den Dhul, Jal Dhul, and Shankot Dhul. She also leaves behind her three beloved nieces, Nyapini Dhul, Vienna Dhul, and Nyakhan Dhul, daughters of her sister Nyagoa, who will forever carry their aunt’s love and memory in their hearts.
Nybol was a very sweet and loving person who could light up any room she walked into. She loved her family, her friends, her nieces, and her daughter so deeply. She was truly the light in everyone’s world.
Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who loved her, and her legacy will endure through her daughter.
May her soul rest in eternal peace.
