Ollie Leo Sieberg, 92, of Mankato, died on January 28, 2026 at The Pillar’s in Mankato.
Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church with visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Mankato with military honors. Mankato Mortuary is assisting family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor’s choice.
Ollie was born on February 8, 1933 to Leo and Anna (Daschner) Sieberg in Mankato. On September 16, 1954 Ollie was united in marriage to Regina (Jean) Mock at the Visitation Catholic Church. They celebrated 67 years together. God blessed them with two children. They lived in Decoria Township for 24 years and then moved to Mankato in 1989. They were members of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Ollie served in the United States Army from 1953-1955. He was a charter member of the American Legion of Eagle Lake. Ollie was employed at Archer Daniels Co. for 10 years and Kato Engineering for 32 years. He retired in 1994 as manager of Quality Assurance. Ollie enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and traveling. Ollie and Regina traveled many miles in their motorhome. Many weekends were enjoyed camping and fishing up north with family and friends. In his “golden years” they enjoyed a few winter months RVing to Arizona, Florida, and Texas. Most enjoyment came at home with his family.
Ollie is survived by his two sons, Douglas (Jessica) of Savage and Michael (LeAnn) of Lake Crystal; grandchildren, Nicholas, Michelle, and Lucia Sieberg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Regina; parents; sisters, Marcella (Louie) Schimek, Delores (Earl) Gens, Loretta (Willard) Severns, and Mary Ann (Anthony) Oberle; brothers, Raymond (Agnes), Marvin (Joann), and Cletus (Cecilia).
