Patrice Parsons

Patrice Maurine Parsons, 60, of Mankato, passed away March 26, 2021 at her home surrounded by family.

Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m., April 17, 2021 At Crossview Covenant Church in North Mankato. Visitation will be from 4-7p.m., April 16, 2021 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Dr., in North Mankato.  Livestreaming will be available at https://vimeo.com/535966260 but all who are able are encouraged to attend. Patrice was born January 14, 1961 to Vernon and Maurine (Hammond) Evenson in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato East High School in 1979 and received her bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Mankato State College. On August 17, 1985, she married Charles Parsons. Together, they raised three daughters, Jordann, Heidi, and Kjersten.

Patrice worked for the Mankato School District for over 25 years where she was one of the most requested substitute teachers. She was a member of Crossview Covenant Church and taught Sunday school for many years. In her free time, Patrice enjoyed hosting and spending time with family and friends especially her daughters and granddaughter, Aubry. She will be greatly missed by many. 

Patrice is survived by her husband, Chuck; girls, Jordann (Shayne) Reynolds, Heidi (Jake) Hillesheim, and Kjersten (Jeriel) Hess; granddaughter, Aubry; sister, Paula (Dave) Erickson; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepfather, Harold Hage; sister, Pam Brooks.
