Paul A. Riewe

Paul A. Riewe, ago 60 of North Mankato, died Friday May 30, 2025.

Paul was born September 21, 1964, the youngest of 6 children to Elmer W. and Elizabeth (Dackins) Riewe in Mankato. Paul grew up in Lake Crystal and graduated from Lake Crystal High School in 1983.

Paul went on to attend South Central College earning a degree in Electronic Technology. He worked at Johnson Fishing in Mankato for about 10 years, followed by several years at IBM in Rochester and then he moved back to the Lake Crystal/Mankato area where he worked for MICO and later at KATO Engineering as an Electronic Tester.

Paul was a fan of country music and enjoyed outdoor activities including deer hunting and fishing. Paul especially loved riding his motorcycle.

Over the years, Paul faced several medical challenges in his life with determination and was resilient in his ability to bounce back from the setbacks and adversity.

Paul will be fondly remembered by those who knew him, and especially by his siblings: Ruth Wendland, Bob (Paige) Riewe, Denny (Diane) Riewe, Mary Lou (Bill) Glenn, and Don (Peggy) Riewe, his Aunt Marian Thomas, along with many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, Rome Wendland.

A Celebration of Paul’s life will be held at 10:30 a.m., June 12, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church in Lake Crystal, followed by lunch at the church. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the church. The family will hold a private interment in Minneopa Cemetery, rural Mankato, MN.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial gifts be made to Mayo Clinic in Paul‘s memory. Donations can be made by mail or online:
