Paul A. Russow

Paul Aaron Russow, age 44, was called to his Heavenly home suddenly on November 16, 2025 while travelling in Denver, CO.

Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Nicollet. Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Monday at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, Nicollet and will continue one hour before the service at church on Tuesday.

Memorials may be given to Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church.

Paul was born, January 11, 1981, to Rev. David and Kay (Mielke) Russow in Casper, WY and was baptized on January 18, 1981, at Lord of Lords Church in Casper. When Paul was 5 years old his family moved to Ft. Collins, CO. Paul was Confirmed in his faith and graduated eighth grade in 1995 at St. Peter Lutheran Church and School in Ft. Collins. He graduated in 1999 from Nebraska Ev. Lutheran High School in Waco, NE. He attended Bethany Lutheran College, Mankato and graduated in 2004 with his Bachelor of Arts degree. He worked in communications technology for Verizon, Consolidated, and MediaCom.

He was united in marriage to Mandi Lachmiller on December 20, 2003, at Trinity Chapel at Bethany Lutheran College, Mankato. He was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Nicollet where he had served on the Trinity Lutheran School Board of Education, as an Elder, and as Janitor.

Paul loved his sports: the Denver Broncos, Maverick Hockey, Avalanche Hockey, fishing, and attending concerts with Mandi.

He had great faith in his Savior, and love for his family and friends whom he cherished spending time with. He will be remembered especially for his quiet wit and humor.

Paul is survived by his wife, Mandi; two daughters, Anna and Madeline; parents, Rev. David and Kay Russow; siblings, Amanda Spoerke and her daughter, Vienna; Rev. Joel (Jill) Russow and their children, Jude, Elijah, Rachel, and Isaiah; John (Ashley) Russow and their children, Eliyanah and Aubrey; Daniel (Jessica) Russow and their children, Thea, Evelyn, Nora, and Peter; father and mother in-law, Dale and Karen Lachmiller; sister-in-law, Marissa (Patrick) Pfeffer and their daughter, Ava; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Paul was preceded in death by his grandparents; Rev. H.E. and Lillian Russow and Raymond and Thera "Bernie" Mielke.
