Randolph "Randy" J. Voigt

Randolph “Randy” J. Voigt, age 56, of Hanover, MN, died unexpectedly, October 5, 2026, at his home.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.

Randy was born May, 2, 1970, in Honolulu, Hawaii to Eugene and Betty (Paulson) Voigt. He was baptized at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Gaylord, MN, in July of 1970.

Randy graduated from Sleepy Eye High School in May of 1989 and attended St. Cloud Technical School for Culinary Arts graduating in 1991. After graduating Randy started working for Perkins Restaurant in New Ulm until 2001 when he went to work at Perkins in Maple Grove where he was still employed.

Randy enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and the San Francisco 49er’s.

Randy is survived by his mother, Betty Voigt of North Mankato; father, Eugene (Deborah) Voigt of Menasha, WI; brother, Daniel Voigt of Las Vegas, NV; sister, Candace Hottinger of Mankato, MN; nephews Noah Voigt, Elijah Voigt, and Peyton Voigt all of Mandan ND; nieces, Kaylie Voigt of Minneapolis, MN, Karlie Voigt, MaKenna Hottinger and Anna Hottinger all of Mankato, MN; and extended family.

Randy was preceded in death by his grandparents, Paul and Marie Paulson, Elroy and Gladys Voigt; godfather, Darwin Wagner; aunt, Donna Sylvester.
