It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Reggie Worlds, a devoted, loving husband, loving father, cherished Poppy, beloved son, dear brother, and proud Veteran.
Reggie lived a life defined by honor, service, and unwavering love for his family. As a Veteran, he proudly served his country with courage and integrity. He continued that commitment to others through his career as a Deputy, protecting and serving his community with compassion, strength, and respect. He also worked as a County Veteran’s Service Officer assisting veterans and their families throughout the state; eventually becoming Deputy Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Veteran Affairs. He was proud to complete his career as Deputy Director of DEED.
While he took great pride in his service, nothing brought him more joy than his family. He was a devoted, loving husband, a loving father, and the kind of Poppy who filled every moment with laughter, wisdom, and unconditional love. His family was the center of his world, and he loved them more than life itself.
When he wasn’t spending time with those he loved, you could often find him on the golf course. Golf was one of his greatest passions, offering him both peace and time with friends. Whether sharing stories after a round or making memories with family and friends, he treasured every opportunity to be with the people he loved.
Those who knew Reggie will remember his kind heart, quiet strength, and generous spirit. He touched countless lives through his service, his friendship, and the example he set every day.
He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his love and the memories they shared. Though his absence leaves an immeasurable void, his legacy of honor, kindness, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
