Richard F. Reddeman

Richard Frank Reddeman passed into the Lord’s presence on October 21, 2025.

A Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour before the service.

He was born to Frank and Ruth Reddeman on December 22, 1930, in St. Peter, MN and grew up on a farm near Cleveland, MN. After serving in the U.S. Navy and marrying Iris Lamont in 1951, he began working at Mankato Citizens Telephone Company (later Hickory Tech) where he remained for 42 years. Iris passed in 2023 after almost 72 years of marriage. Dick grew up in a generation that ushered in modern technology for even rural areas, from indoor plumbing to electricity to telephones and television. He grew up with a work ethic and moral character that served him well throughout his life. In his spare time, one could find him fishing, reading, playing cribbage, or, true to his German/Norwegian heritage, sipping a beer.

Dick is survived by his children, Michelle (Randy) Erickson and Brad (Vickie) Reddeman; Michelle and Randy’s children, Alexandra (Grayson) Freking and Grant Erickson; Brad and Vickie’s children, Elizabeth (Josh) Skinner, Danielle Schlobohm, and Katie Schlobohm, along with Elizabeth’s children, Avery, Otto, and Elouise.
