Richard "Rick" Allen Oachs

Richard “Rick” Allen Oachs, age 69 died peacefully on June 10, 2023, at Mayo Health Systems.

Rick was born on March 31, 1954, to Leslie and Marcella (Frederickson) Oachs in Mankato, MN. He was lifetime resident of Mankato and attended Mankato High School.

He worked long hours at Southern Minnesota Construction for many years before his retirement.

Rick loved cruising on his Harley, going ice fishing in the winder and camping in the summer and watching football in the fall. He loved having a Budweiser and going and singing karaoke with his many family and friends. He especially loved spending time with his little dog Buddy.

Rick is survived by his daughters, Tashina (Jacob) Schultz of Nicollet and Savannah Oachs of Good Thunder; grandchildren Wyatt and Emma; brother, Woody (Dianne) Oachs, sisters Joy (Gary) Wiese, Delphine (Ted) Hoogenraad, Annie (Fernando) Bobadillo, Marsha (John) Reasor; brother-in-law, Dave Stierlen; sister-in-law, Barb Oachs; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leslie and Marcella Oachs; brothers Larry and Brad; sisters Patricia, Jeanne and Debbie.

Family service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2023, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary. Interment will be at Sterling Cemetery, Amboy, MN

Celebration of Life will be Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the Mankato Eagles Club starting at 4:00 p.m.,
