Robert "Bob" Philip Dauk

Robert “Bob” Dauk, age 83, of rural Madison Lake, died Tuesday, July 21, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Funeral Mass 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 27, 2026, at All Saints Catholic Church, Madison Lake. Visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11 a.m., Monday at the church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Madison Lake. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Robert was born January 23, 1943, to Charles H. and Lucille M. (Weber) Dauk in Mankato. He graduated from Janesville High School in 1961. Bob served his country with the U.S. Army Reserves. Bob was united in marriage to Rita A. Schlosser on January 7, 1967, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Mankato.

Bob was a lifelong farmer in rural Madison Lake. In retirement he drove shuttlebus for Land to Air to the MSP Airport and MSU sporting events. He enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, and riding his Harley across the country. Bob especially enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s activities.

Bob is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rita; three children, Renée (Craig) Dauk-Bleess of New Prague, Ronald (Susan) Dauk of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Richard (Lién) Dauk of Apple Valley, MN; ten grandchildren, Claire Bleess, Toby Bleess, William Dauk, Ellen (Jeremiah) Neely, Anna (Carter) Jameson, Samuel Dauk, Benjamin (Shelby) Dauk, Anja Dauk, Owen Dauk, and Ethan Dauk; four great-grandchildren, Mary Jo, Elizabeth, and Charlie Neely, Margaret Jameson; seven siblings, Annette (Dayton) Fahning, Clement (JoAnne) Dauk, Anthony (Diana) Dauk, Thomas (Sharon) Dauk, Kathleen (Bernard) Ploog, Debra (David) Sandquist, and James (Darlene) Dauk; many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents.

A loving husband and father, he will be missed.
