Ronald B. Larson

Ronald B. Larson, 77 of North Mankato, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025. Ron’s funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church, 325 Sherman Street, North Mankato Minn., with visitation at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Ron was born November 11, 1947, in Minneapolis, Minn., to Alvin and Lucille (Healy) Larson. He graduated from Richfield High School in 1965, then went on to attend Mankato State College. Here is where he met the love of his life Julaine "Jo" Weise. Ron and Jo were married in Elmore, Minn., in 1969 and made their home in Mankato. Ron was employed with National Poly until his retirement. He enjoyed music, and was active with the Mankato Riverblenders Chorus, the River Bend Bells, and the Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church Choir and Bell Choir. Ron also enjoyed the culinary arts (both cooking and baking) and was a longtime patron of the Minnesota State University, Mankato Theater Arts program.

Ron is survived by his brother Brent Larson; brother-in-law Dr. Jim Siverhus; niece LuAnn (Matt) Paul; nephews Randy Larson; Keith (Pam) Larson; Dr. Scott Siverhus; Dr. Craig (Hope) Siverhus; Dr. David (Lisa) Siverhus; and many other relatives and good friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Julaine in 2015; his sister Kae Siverhus; and his parents.
