Rosalia graduated from Mankato Loyola High School and later attended Mankato Commercial College. She began her career as a secretary at The Insurance Center before joining James R. Weir, where she worked her way into a career as an insurance agent. She took great pride in her work and the relationships she built throughout her career.

She later became a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, where she continued to find community and fellowship throughout her life.

The lake was a special gathering place for family and friends and held many cherished memories for her. She also enjoyed water skiing, including time on the water with her son, and looked forward to annual fishing trips to Rainy Lake in Canada with her friends.

Rosalia was a social person who enjoyed spending time with those she loved. She had many dear friends and especially enjoyed going out to eat, catching a movie, and simply sharing good times and conversation. Her friendships, family traditions, and love of the lake were an important part of the life she built and the memories she leaves behind.

She will be lovingly remembered by her son Joseph and his wife Emma; her brother William Schumacher and his wife Jan, as well as their children and grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Michael.
