Rosanne Marie Carlson

Rosanne Marie Carlson passed away at the age of 94 at River’s Edge Hospital, St. Peter. 

Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:30-11:00 a.m. at the church.   Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.   Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials are preferred to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or St. Croix Hospice.  

Rosanne was the youngest child of Nicholas and Wilehmina (Lebrun) Hollerich and the last of the first generation, born June 19, 1929 in Good Thunder.   She graduated from Welcome Memorial High School in 1947.  She was employed at the Mankato Photo Shop (penny pictures) for 30 years.  She enjoyed traveling, gardening, all kinds of crafts, making many prayer shawls for the sick, cake decorating, but mostly, she loved spending time with family.  

Rosanne is survived by her husband, Norman of 68 years; daughter, Lynell (Steve) Rohlfing; two grandsons, Mitchel Rohlfing and special friend, Stephanie and Garett (Ashley) Rohlfing; granddaughter, Christi (Cody) Baker; and two great-grandsons, Henry Baker and Max Rohlfing.  She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mary Schroeder, Christina Zehnder, and Martha Peterson; and four brothers, George, John, Peter, and Samuel Hollerich.
