Sandra Pearl Mulvehill

Sandra "Sandy" Pearl Mulvehill (née Blanshan), age 85, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on June 3, 2025, in Madison Lake, Minnesota.

Born on June 26, 1939, in Mankato, Minnesota, Sandy was the daughter of Ralph “Slim” and Fern Blanshan. She grew up surrounded by a large family, a foundation that would shape her lifelong devotion to those she held dear.

Sandy dedicated over four decades of her life to Hubbard Milling/Corporate Graphics Commercial, where her commitment and work ethic left a lasting impression. Her career was marked by steadfast dedication and a strong sense of responsibility—qualities that extended into every aspect of her life.

Sandy was known far and wide as the world’s biggest Minnesota Twins fan. Whether cheering from the stands or from her favorite chair at home, she followed the team with unwavering enthusiasm. When not immersed in baseball, Sandy found joy in bird watching—a quiet passion that reflected her appreciation for nature’s beauty and serenity. She was also an active member at her church, the Church of Christ in Cleveland, Minnesota, and enjoyed helping with VBS each summer.

Family was the heart of Sandy’s world. She cherished every moment spent with her children: Kim (Tim) Wussow, Kevin (Jill) Krause, Kandace Krause, Kelly (Brenda) Krause, Kassie (Jeff) Houle, and Teresa (Tom Giese) Mulvehill. Her legacy continues through 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren—each one a source of pride and joy. She loved time spent traveling with family near and far.

Sandy also shared deep bonds with her siblings. She is lovingly remembered by her brothers Garry Blanshan of Mankato and Albert Blanshan of Belle Plaine, and will be missed by her kitty, Kirby. She now joins in rest her parents Ralph and Fern Blanshan; husband Tom Mulvehill, sister Donna Jeanne Yokiel; brothers Robert (June), James (Florence), Harvey (Mary), and infant brother Duane Blanshan, sisters-in-law Mary Ann and Bonnie Blanshan.

A Memorial service to celebrate Sandy's life will be held at the Church of Christ in Cleveland, Minnesota, on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 11:00 AM with a visitation one hour prior to service.

Sandy will be missed by all who knew her. May her memory bring comfort to those who carry it forward.
