Shannon M. Ehlers

Shannon M. Ehlers, age 50, of Mapleton, died unexpectedly on February 13, 2021.

Memorial visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Mankato Mortuary, 1001 N. Riverfront Drive, Mankato.

Shannon Moss, the son of Donald Ehlers and Carole (Welch) Ehlers, was born on April 23, 1970 in Worthington. In 1988, he graduated from Worthington High School. Shannon married Beverly Mayer on May 29, 1999 in Mankato. He was previously employed at Midwest Wireless/Alltel as a customer service representative and most recently at the Taylor Corporation Procurement Office. Shannon enjoyed cooking, gardening, and playing his guitar.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly Ehlers of Mapleton and their son, Zander; brother, Jason (Rachel) Ehlers of California; and aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Ehlers; mother, Carole Ehlers; and maternal grandparents, Albyn and Ruth Welch.
