Sharon Lee Dallmann

Sharon Lee Dallmann (Hainka), age 83, passed away peacefully in her home on October 19, 2021 in Mapleton, MN.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church in Mapleton. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Mapleton. Olson-Tichenor Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Sharon was born on July 27, 1938 to Arthur and Arlene (Willie) Hainka.  She grew up in Mapleton and graduated from Mapleton High School in 1957. Sharon was united in marriage to Duane Dallmann on April 7, 1960. She worked for the City of Mankato for many years before her retirement. Having family time was most important to Sharon and she enjoyed her morning coffee and chat, fishing, and going to her boys’ campers up North. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Mapleton.

Sharon is survived by her sons, Mark (Susan) Dallmann, Paul (Sheila) Dallmann, and James (Sheila) Dallmann; grandchildren, Joseph (Stephanie) Dallmann, Heather (Travis) Truebenbach, Ashley (Justin) Theis, Chelsea (Michael) Gauthier, Emily Dallmann, and Shelby Dallmann; great-grandchildren, Aiden, Brianna, Grayson, Makayla, and Lewis; and many nieces, nephews, and special caregiver and friend, Mackenzie Massop.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband. Duane; infant son, Noah; brother, David Hainka; and sister, Carol McGregor.
