Sharon Renee Anderson

Sharon Renee Anderson, 73, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on January 14, 2026, at her home in Mankato, MN.

Memorial Service, 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 30, 2026, at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Mankato. Visitation will begin 1.5 hours before the service at 9:30am at Our Savior Lutheran Church.

Sharon was born February 22, 1952, to Duane and Bertha Anderson in Worthington, MN where she was raised with her two sisters and brother. She graduated from Worthington High School later moving to Mankato where she raised her three children.

Sharon had a love for children, she went back to college and gained a degree in special education. She spent years teaching in various districts, pre-schools and in Sunday School. She had a love for the outdoors spending time biking and camping. Sharon loved animals and had many beloved dogs and cats over the years.

Sharon was a proud Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, she cherished time spent with her Granddaughters and their children. She also enjoyed visiting with her siblings, going on car trips with her sisters.

Sharon is survived by her son, Nathan (Lindsey) Marso of Eagle Lake, and their daughters, Breanna, Mackenzie and Avery; Great-Grandchildren, Dominick, Dawsyn, Bella, Bentley and Iris; daughter, Maribeth Marso of Havelock, NC her daughter, Renee (Steffen) Lovelace; Great-Grandchildren, Rusty and Willow; and son, Mitchell Marso of Mankato; Her siblings, Barbara (Scott) Zinnel, Roger Anderson and Cindy Anderson; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Bertha Anderson and infant brother, Steven.
