Steven “Bean” T. Mosher, age 74, of Lake Crystal, died Thursday, August 20, 2026, at his home.

A Celebration of Steve’s Life will be held September 12, 2026, at the Lake Crystal American Legion from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Steven Thomas was born September 19, 1951, in Mankato to Maynard H. and Verna A. (Sauter) Mosher. He graduated from Lake Crystal High School in 1969.

Steve was united in marriage to Tracy J. Hillesheim on October 17, 1992. They were happily married for 34 years.

Steve was employed at Kraft Foods, his family’s business, Gambles Grocery and Trustworthy Hardware in Lake Crystal, and as a printer until retirement.

Steve’s hobbies over the years included hunting, fishing, golf, trap shooting, playing pool, dancing, playing Farkle, and 3 card guts with friends. He was a longtime member of Duck’s Unlimited.

Steve is survived by his wife, Tracy; two children, Shalene (Randall) Trester of British Columbia, Canada and Scott (Tasha) Mosher of Seattle, WA and their two children, Ilah and Nyjah; brother, Jack (Ginny) Mosher of Mankato; two nephews, Corey (Erin) Mosher of Minneapolis and Matt Zimmerman of Mankato; niece, Kelley Mosher (Adam Lazare) of Madison WI ; mother-in-law, Nancy Hillesheim; sister-in-law, Tammy (Ken) Roos all of Lake Crystal; brother-in-law, Justin (Gretchen) Hillesheim Vernon Center; and extended family.

Steve was preceded in death his parents; infant son, Shane; father-in-law, Jerry Hillesheim; fishing buddy, Steve Mecklin; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
