Sue Ann Rustman

Sue Ann Rustman, age 76 or Lake Crystal, passed away unexpectedly on January 8, 2026. 

Funeral service will be 2:00pm on Friday, January 16, 2026 at Lake Crystal Mortuary with burial to follow at Lake Crystal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm.

Sue Ann was born May 31, 1949 in Canby, MN to Duane and Elizabeth (Oellien) Benson and attended Canby Schools. On February 23, 1969 she was united in marriage to Arvin "Nook" Rustman. They made their home in Lake Crystal where they raised their family. Sue enjoyed raising horses, reading, caring for her dogs, listening to Elvis' music, and most importantly time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Left to remember Sue are her husband, Nook; sons: Randy (Angie), and Ricky (Jen); grandchildren: Chelsey (Lance) Oachs, and Bailey (Cory) Schiefelbein; great-grandchildren: Ava, Levi, and Claire; sister Gloria Allen (Greg) Nygaard; sister-in-law Dee Benson; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother Steve Benson.
