Ted Burzynski

Ted Burzynski, age 83, of Mankato, died on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Hillcrest Health Care Center.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, July 1, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. 

Ted was born on January 27, 1939 in Milwaukee, WI to Michael and Angeline (Switalski).  On October 7, 1967, Ted was united in marriage to Vivian Effertz in Mound, MN.  Ted was a 20 year veteran of the United States Marine Corp.  Ted and Vivian moved to Mankato in 1977.  He enjoyed traveling, reading, and dancing polkas. 

Ted is survived by his wife, Vivian (Dolly); two daughters, Lorena Burzynski and Carrie Burzynski; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and sister, Marcy Pagel.  Ted was preceded in death by his parents and 11 siblings.
