Timothy John Wlasiuk, age 67, of Winthrop passed away June 29, 2026.
A Celebration of Life will be held October 24, 2026. Details to be posted later.
Timothy was born June 10, 1959 in Wadena, MN to John and Patricia (Rohr) Wlasiuk. He attended school in Brainerd, and continued his education at VoTech in Hutchinson. He was united in marriage to Jacqueline "Jackie" K. Johnson on June 22, 1985 in Lafayette, MN and they made their home in rural Winthrop. Together they owned and operated the Prairie House Restaurant in Gaylord from 1988 until 2003. He then worked as a cheese maker for Agropur for 23 years, until retirement.
Tim's passion was being an umpire for Girls HS softball and he was a member of the Mankato Softball Association. He was a Cub Scout leader during his son's time in the organization. Tim also enjoyed biking, fishing, and bowling.
Left to remember Tim are his wife, Jackie of Winthrop; son, Jordan of Winthrop; mother Patricia of Brainerd; siblings: Cindy (Bruce) Pettis of St. Paul, Mike (Nancy) of Gaylord, and Jeff (Suzanne) of Ironton; in-laws: Pam (Steve) Morson, and Tim (Coreen) Johnson both of Lafayette; and many nieces and nephews.
