Vince Eliot Schull

Vince Eliot Schull, age 52, of Mapleton passed away due to medical complications on Thursday, June 16, 2022.

Memorial service will be at 11 a.m., on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at St. John Lutheran Church, Mapleton, with visitation one hour prior at the church as well. Burial will be in Decoria Cemetery. Olson-Tichenor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Vince was born on February 12, 1970, in Mankato MN to Robert and Karen Schull.  He grew up on the family farm and at a young age was attracted to all things with wheels which stayed with him as he aged.  He graduated from Mapleton-Amboy-Good Thunder High School in 1988 and continued his education at Rasmussen College pursuing a career in the travel industry.  He worked at various jobs, all connected to agriculture and also did some cross-country trucking before working with his parents on the farm.  Vince was mostly a quiet-stand on the side personality and while he could be anxious in crowds, he always enjoyed time spent with family and friends.  He was loved and will be missed.

Vince is survived by his parents, Robert and Karen Schull; siblings, Wayne (Diane) Schull, and Vicki (Shannon Cotton) Schull, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Art and Alice Lindberg, and Henry and Florence Schull.
