Virginia "Ginger" Kipp

Virginia “Ginger” Kipp, age 73, of North Mankato, died on Sunday, February 26, 2023, at her home.

Memorial Service will be held Monday, March 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Christ the King Lutheran Church.  Visitation will be Sunday, March 5 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service at church. 

Ginger was born on August 29, 1949, in Wells, MN to Milton and Marie (Harper) Groskreutz.  She graduated from Waldorf-Pemberton High School in 1967.  On July 11, 1970, Ginger was united in marriage to Dennis Kipp at First Lutheran Church in Waldorf.  Ginger worked as a paraprofessional for many years at Kennedy Elementary School.  She enjoyed gardening, was an avid quilter, volunteered at Christ the King, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. 

Ginger is survived by her husband, Denny of North Mankato; children, Justin (Jennifer) of Eagan and Nicole (Michael) Larson of North Mankato; grandchildren, Elizabeth Petersen, Chayce Petersen, Noah Kipp, Emma Kipp, Owen Kipp, and Kaiah Larson; siblings, Linda Dreier, Dale (Lynn) Groskreutz, Neil (Jean) Groskreutz, and Glenn (Jan) Groskreutz; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
