Warren B. Ward

Warren B. Ward, 99 of Mankato and formerly of Pemberton, died April 5, 2021 at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 9, 2021 at Grace Baptist Church in Mankato with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Medo McPherson Cemetery.

Warren was born September 6, 1921 to Charley and Millie (Brazier) Ward in Mankato. He attended Bellview Country School and graduated from St. Clair High School. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1944 to 1946. On December 17, 1971, he married Jane Lilleboe at Grace Baptist Church in Mankato. Warren was a farmer for most of his life and in his free time he enjoyed working on his yard and traveling.

Warren is survived by his stepchildren, Joann (Dr. Dave) Tessmann, Joyce (Terry) Bacon, and Dennis (Debbie) Engler; 9 step-grandchildren; many great step-grandchildren; brother, Jack (Nedra) Ward; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jane; and siblings; Beth, Elwyn, Charles, and Helen.
