William "Bill" R. Cutts, Jr.

William “Bill” Rollin Cutts, Jr, age 77, passed away at his home, on Sunday, December 22, 2024.

A Private service was held. Northview – North Mankato Mortuary assisted with arrangements.

Bill was born August 3, 1947 in Yankton, SD, to Bill and Kathryn (Sission) Cutts. He graduated from Mankato High School in 1965. Bill served his country in the U.S. Army from 1966-68. He was a Vietnam Veteran.

A long-time resident of Mankato, Bill was owner and self-employed of Cutts Communications, Inc. In later years he was employed by River City Electric as warehouse manager for 15 years.

He was very proud of achieving his Eagle Scout award with his father, Bill Sr. as his leader and mentor.

Bill was very talented and skilled with his hands, head and heart as he worked tirelessly to make things better. Bill never really retired, and he never left any work unfinished before he went home for the day.

Survivors include his wife, Savorn; his children, Chris (Amy) Cutts of Owatonna, MN, Sunney and Nathan Cutts of Mankato, MN; siblings, Cynthia Babb of Tulsa, OK, Sharon Larson of Mesa, AZ, Kathy (Jay) Larsen of Brookings, SD, Jim Cutts of Tetiz, Mexico, Randy (YuHong) Cutts of Goose Creek, SC; many cousins, nieces and nephews; in-laws; parents, Loeum Muong and Sun Sem; brothers and sister, Bros Nhim, Savoun Nhim, and Pich Nhim, all of Cambodia.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents and his infant daughter, Kim.
